name: Coach's name
image: Image of the coach
image_upright: Image scaling factor
alt: Alt text for the image
caption: Caption for the image
sport: Sport(s) coached
current_title: Current title [populate only for active coaches or administrators]
current_team: Team/organization currently coached/administrated [populate only for active coaches or administrators]
current_conference: Athletic conference of team currently coached/administrated [populate only for active coaches or administrators]
current_record: Record with current team [populate only for active coaches or administrators]
contract: The coach/administrator's contract information [populate only for active coaches or administrators]
birth_date: Date of birth for the coach
birth_place: Birthplace of the coach
death_date: Date of death for the coach

alma_mater: School(s) coach graduated from
player_sport1..20: The sport they played in for the teams listed below. player_sportX clashes with player_yearsX and player_teamX. If player_sport1 is defined, player_years1 and player_teams1 will be suppressed; they'd have to be shifted down to player_years2 and player_teams2.
player_years1..20: years the coach played
player_team1..20: The teams the coach played for
player_positions: The position(s) the coach played
coach_sport1..30: As with player_sport1
coach_years1..30: years coached at schools/organizations
coach_team1..30: Schools coached
admin_years1..20: years of administrative tenure
admin_team1..20: Schools/organizations managed as administrator, e.g. athletic director, general manager
overall_record: Overall coaching record
bowl_record: The overall bowl record of the coach
tournament_record: Overall tournament record of the coach
CFbDWID: The ID of the coach on cfbdatawarehouse.com
championships: Championships won by the coach
awards: Awards the coach has received
coaching_records: Coaching records, e.g. most all-time wins, highest winning percentage
CFBHOF_year: year the coach was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame
CFBHOF_id: The ID of the coach on the College Football Hall of Fame website; get from URL
BASKHOF_year: year the coach was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame
BASKHOF_id: The ID of the coach on the Basketball Hall of Fame website; get from URL

Sub-templates

Date-of-birth ("bday") information will only be included in the microformat if {{birth date}}, or {{birth date and age}} are used in the infobox. (Do not use these if the date is before 1583). Be cautious about using these if the person is still living, per WP:DOB.
