As I know Francis here in tg.wikipedia and out of it in open source communities for one more than a year. I should declair he is a legible wikipedian and smart man but my experience in Persian wikipedia made me to be more meticulous in voting people for promotion, Especially for bureaucratship who are the people who should judge for the concensus so I prefer to ask Francis about this officially while some people have voted without any question I feel this necessary.--Сурӯш--Soroush ^{☺Гап задан | ☼вироишҳо} 18:09، 18 Январ 2008 (UTC)

As the most important job of a bureaucrat is understanding and declaring concensus. I'd like to know how you will judge sb's contributions and manner when you want to decide for his/her promotion? (It is a question for me because you don't know Tajik enough. I feel you need to ask others about promotion and in this case having a bureaucrat who knows Tajik well will be essential or you will have to use other's idea in votes) While it is correct for stewards too but it just happens in the first election of bureaucrats and sysops and the other items disscussed bellow aren't subject of context.--Сурӯш--Soroush ^{☺Гап задан | ☼вироишҳо} 18:09، 18 Январ 2008 (UTC)

As far as I am concerned the only job of a bureaucrat is to put bot flags, and close RfA discussions and flip the bit if necessary. At the moment I would be an improvement over the stewards as I know the community and the encyclopaedia better. As Arb commite is very difficult to begin its work and it won't be here for a long time and wise and strict approach will be needed for it bureaucrat s will be so important till they come and closing RfAs need to understand discussion and RfAs without enough discussion doensn't have much worth. Moreover, RfAs need to have a common sence about editing manners and etiquette of user to decide better. For sure being meticulous about these things are better and it's why en.wikipedia, the largest wikipedia, doesn't have many bureaucrats so I still believe having a bureaucrat who understands Tajik well is so better.--Сурӯш--Soroush ^{☺Гап задан | ☼вироишҳо} 12:06، 23 январи 2008 (UTC)

How will you treat if there was a discussion about changing a wikipedia policies especially ones about bureacrats and sysops?(will you force it to go in English. I don't think that bureaucrats should involve themselves in declaring consensus on other topics such as Wikipedia policy, nor do I think that a bureaucrat is a substitute for an ArbCom. I will not force any discussion into English.
