The Template:Convert/LoffAoffDbSoff formats a conversion with the amount displayed as non-wikilinked, with full unit name, and the result in parentheses "( )" to be calculated by invoking the output unit {Convert/{3}|...} or {Convert/{o}|...}, which uses the result formatterTemplate:Convert/LoffAonSoff to show the non-linked unit symbol (abbreviated unit).
This template also sets the precision value of the input amount, unless either the rounding parameter is set ("|0" or "|-2" or such) or the sigfig=3 parameter is set (internal name {{{s}}} ). For most uses of {Convert}, the precision will be calculated here, using Template:Precision with the input amount.
