The Template:Convert/e9USgal_e6m3 is a subtemplate of Template:Convert, for volume conversions, to show the result in billions of US gallons and millions of cubic metres. It is used when invoking {Convert} by specifying the output unit-code as "e9USgal e6m3" for the 3rd parameter:
- {{convert|4500|acre ft|e9USgal e6m3}} → 4,500 acre feet (1.5×109 US gal; 5.6×106 m3)
- {{convert|4500|acre ft|e9USgal e6m3|abbr=off}} → 4,500 acre feet (1.5 billion US gallons; 5.6 million cubic metres)
- {{convert|4500|-|4900|acre ft|e9USgal e6m3}} → 4,500–4,900 acre feet (1.5×109–1.6×109 US gal; 5.6×106–6.0×106 m3)
- {{convert|4500|-|4900|acre ft|e9USgal e6m3|abbr=off}}→ 4,500–4,900 acre feet (1.5–1.6 billion US gallons; 5.6–6.0 million cubic metres)
Note that option "abbr=off" will show the full unit names and words "billion" and "million" depending on the amount being converted. Other options are allowed, such as ranges of input units, but the range scales are repeated unless "abbr=off" is set.
