To convert a volume with fluid ounces, use the unit-code "USoz" ("USfloz") or "impoz". For dry weight use "oz", such as in:  {{convert|16|oz|g}} → 16 ounces (450 g) or {{convert|14|USfloz|L}} → 14 US fluid ounces (0.41 L). Parameter 1 is: {{{1}}}. The Template:Convert/ounces is a subtemplate of measurement converter Template:Convert, to remind the user that the designated unit-code for U.S. fluid ounces is "USfloz" (USoz) or dry weight ounces is "oz". For imperial units, the fluid unit-code is "impfloz" or "impoz". The most-common units are often thought by new users to be specified as full words, so the reminder clarifies the use of the unit-code as either "USfloz" ("USoz") or "impoz" or dry "oz".
