The Template:Convert/outAnd processes the 4 output values, such as feet with "ft" and inches with "in". Hence, for a conversion of 3 m to "ftin", then:
- For 3 m to ftin, the 4 parameters would be: 9, ft, 10, in.
When there are only inches, then parameter {{{1}}} would be "0" as zero feet. The logic is similar for other combinations of units.
